ABOUT A GROUP

DEROU & PARTNERS is an international design office created on January 1, 2004 by the Architect Urbaniste trained at EAMAU in Togo and at the School of Architecture of Nancy in France: Arch. Dontou Hiloukou DEROU.   The philosophy of the firm's team working on several projects in a dozen African countries is based on human comfort and the evolution of architecture. Innovation is constant there. Convinced that architecture evolves by iteration, any dogmatic stance is defeated.   The comfort of the man proceeds from the fusion of the dedans and the outside, the sensitive apprehension of the site of incrustation of the habitats and the restoration of the natural balances tangible and intangible. Architecture, the art of the arts, the work in perpetual exposure actively influences life. It must bring happy alternatives to the habitat confronted with the current climate changes on our planet ...   The effectiveness of our agency is based on a teamwork organization. Each member of our agency feels responsible for each study, although everyone has a specific task. It is an organization based on multidisciplinary competences so as to have for each project a global understanding. The transversal collaboration makes it possible to have answers in real time even beyond our fields of investigation.     At the head of each department, we have an architect or an engineer. The work is organized in 450m2 landscaped offices for architects and engineers.
